the host is a local woman who has been running the place for years. she made us feel at home, prepared a delicious dinner on short notice. cooked herself with local ingredients. room was spacious and clean.

located in a very quiet Swiss valley. Yes it is next to a railway line but it wasnt as if loud trains came rumbling by, nor could we particularly hear the main road wed come off for the night. Switzerland is expensive and we paid more for this pretty basic and simple accommodation than most others whilst wed been in Italy but we accept its the price of doing business here . we were sorry we didnt opt for the meal on arrival but we reckon it would have been a good locally cooked one .

Just outside a very old quiet town. Very nice staff. They have just 3 rooms but with a restaurant open to everyone.

The room was ok. It looks a bit nicer in the pictures, so I was a little disappointed when we arrived. But there was nothing really wrong with it. The room we got however, was right near the main road and very loud in the morning - bring earplugs! the staff were really lovely. Pizza in the restaurant was pretty good, and the breakfast was also pretty decent. I feel in general it was overpriced for what you get, but I think many of the other options in the area are also in a similar price range.
